Legs and Abs...

        Will be training later than usual today.  I decided to wait until by training partner finished work.  As always I'll strive to hit it heavy and intense. I am starting to get up to some pretty intense poundages again for legs. So an extra rep or just a few more pounds a week is enough of a record to go for each time.  Couldn't get any pics in the gym today because the battery in my camera was gone.

Training

*Warm-up includes 5 minutes of stationary bike, 10 minutes of light movements and stretching
! refers to lifting records of more weight or more reps with previous weight on that particular set.

Legs:
Quad Extensions
1 warm-up set, (1 x 12 at 50lbs)

Barbell Squats
3 warm-up sets, (1 x 12 at 105lbs, 1 x 6 at 135lbs, 1 x 3 at 185lbs)
1 x 6 at 255lbs!, 1 x 5 at 315lbs!

45 Degree Leg Press...1 x 6 at 630lbs, 1 x 5 at 700lbs!

Stiff Leg Deadlift...1 x 6 at 325lbs

Standing Calf Raise
1 warm-up set, (1 x 12 at BW)
1 x 8 at 1000lbs!, 1 x 6 at 1000lbs

Abs:
Cable Crunches
1 warm-up set, ( 1 x 12 at 25kg)
1 x 10 at 35kg, 1 x 10 at 35kg+5lbs

Hanging Leg Raises (dumbbell in feet)
1 x 10 at 15lbs

Comments

    Oh man, today's workout was hard from start to finish!.  Not because I didn't feel up to it, but because it was almost 30 degrees Celsius outside here today and the small gym I train at doesn't even have air conditioning.  Combine that with leg training, of all bodyparts and its like training at 30,000 ft.  My training partner and I were gasping for air between each set and made sure to keep chugging down the water.  We were drenched by the time we were done and I would say we lost about 5lbs of water weight.  Despite that I still managed to go for that little extra on some exercises and get through it all the same...

Current Eating Schedule

(1.5 Gallons of Water Daily)
 

Meal #1- Whole Food + 1000mg Vitamin C, 400 IU Vitamin E, 1 Multivitamin, 900mg Glucosamine/Chondroitin
 

Meal #2- Nytro-Pro 40 meal replacement + 1 tbsp canola oil

Pre Workout -2 Dymetadrine Xtreme

Meal #3 - Post Workout
 - 2000mg Vitamin C, 800 IU Vitamin E, 1 Multivitamin, 900mg Glucosamine/Chondroitin
2 Scoops of VP2 + 1 serving of Creatine + Apple Juice

Meal #4 - Whole Food

Meal #5 - 1 Scoop of VP2 + 1 tbsp canola oil
